Process of Certification



CfPIE provides a straightforward process to earn your life science certification. Our credentialing courses are organized into clear pathways, allowing you to assess your goals and build role-specific skills while meeting program requirements.

To obtain your life science certification:

  1. Choose your certification program: Select a life science certification that aligns with your role and goals.
  2. Build your curriculum: Participate in three core courses and one elective course related to your chosen certification track.
  3. Select your delivery format: Register for and attend the course via livestream. We also offer custom, on-site certification programs for organizations with 10 or more employees enrolling.
  4. Pass the certification exam: Once your coursework is complete, take the corresponding online examinations with a minimum average score of 70%.
  5. Earn your credential: Upon your successful completion, CfPIE will issue your certification credentials.
