Why write for CfPIE?

The Center for Professional Innovation and Education (CfPIE) is happy to announce our new writing program for Instructors and Industry Professionals.

Why write for CfPIE?

  1. Earn extra money.
  2. Publicize your writing and expertise.
  3. Attract more opportunities to fill your classes.

As part of our on-going commitment to excellence, our CfPIE writing program is now open exclusively to members of the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device and Cosmetic Manufacturing industries.  Instructors for CfPIE will be given priority as CfPIE is committed to our instructor’s success.

How do I get started?

Please submit topics with a short summary for consideration by the first of each month to info@cfpie.com. You will be notified if your topic is accepted or wait-listed and when the complete article is due.

What is the program?

As a part of this program, you are invited to submit articles from 500-1000 words long.  Shorter articles (500-800 words) will be compensated at the rate of $100 per article, longer articles (800 words +) will be compensated at the rate of $150 per article.  Life science articles for consideration should be clearly related to the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Med Device, Compliance, Regulatory and/or Cosmetic Manufacturing field, however the subject is open to the author’s choice.

How am I paid?

Three to four articles per month are accepted for publication.  Once your article is accepted and all edits are completed, you will be paid via check immediately.

Copyright and Distribution

All articles written for this program will be considered the property of CfPIE and a written release will be required prior to payment.  CfPIE will distribute and promote the articles through appropriate social media channels, as well as post them to the company website, giving the author full credit.  All articles must be written exclusively for CfPIE and cannot be published to other news media channels, such as professional organizations, industry websites, and/or news media outlets.

Articles will also be emailed to our extensive mailing list and then distributed and promoted through our social media channels, including Linkedin and Facebook.  Additionally, articles may be submitted on behalf of CfPIE to news sources, such as The Huffington Post and other news journals, with full credit given to the author.

Authors are encouraged to share and distribute articles on their own social media and websites.  In these cases, the tagline “posted on behalf of The Center for Professional Innovation and Education” must be included in the article with a link to CfPIE’s website.

What if my article isn’t accepted?

You are welcome to rewrite the article and/or re-submit the article for another month. We will notify if we are wait-listing your article for another month.
